Who We Are
We are a classic auto restoration shop, specializing in rust repair and paint.


Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for productive subcontractors who have commitment and passion toward auto body restoration.

This person is experienced in auto restoration. He or she performs all aspects of auto body restoration, from filling and sanding to priming, as well as disassembly, reassembly and paint finishing (color sanding, buffing, polishing).

This person’s life is working: doesn’t do drugs; doesn’t have a felony; is not homeless, is not going through negative changes in life. (e.g., breakup, divorce, bankruptcy, lawsuit, financial hardships…)

This person has a proven track record of producing results and keeping his or her word: You have completed 2 projects related to body restoration or repair; You always keep your word.


Qualifications

Worked at body shop: 3 years (Preferred)
Completed 2 body restoration or repair projects (Preferred)
Technical school certificates are a plus (Preferred)
Experience with operation and maintenance of a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, test equipment (Preferred)
Solvent and waterborne paint experience (Preferred)
Must have valid driver's license
Willing to submit to a drug screening & background check
Must have own tools


Job Duties

Complete disassembly of vehicle. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and window and seat operating equipment and trim to gain access to damaged areas of vehicle if needed. Store parts on carts or cover to eliminate potential damage.
Paint surfaces of wheels using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids, utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques.
Mix paints, primers, sealers, base-coats, and clear-coats and apply finishes properly.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g. welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, sanding blocks, hammers, wrenches, DA, spray guns, etc.)
Sand, mask, blend, and polish finish. Apply or retouch paint as necessary.
Repair scratches and dents.


Compensation
Depending on experience: 13-21 dollars / hour
