Position Summary
The position responsible for all administrative elements of our students’ experiences to ensure fast and accurate service to students and host families; provides operational support, project management and ensures operational efficiency of the student facing departments. The student service manager reports directly to the general manager at Abroad & Future Inc.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Manage the smooth and safe operation of the student homestay program
• Develop and manage assigned AF homestay families, including communicating with host families to ensure highest level of student satisfaction.
• Coordinate and organize orientations, and other AF monthly students events and activities in the programs, helping on all the planning and logistics.
• Help to participate the academic program planning
• Works with the general manager and other service Managers to carry out the logistics of the projects and programs


Requirements:
• Excellent problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Sensitive to the feelings, thoughts and attitudes of others, including the cultural differences between students 
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Tact, patience and diplomacy, particularly with non-native English speakers
• Need for cultural sensitivities and/or a desire to work in a diverse environment
• High energy level and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Management experience
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
• 1+ year experience managing; 3+ years in a business setting; prior experience with international students strongly preferred
• One or more foreign language ability a plus (Chinese preferred)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (OPT, CPT for currently college students, H1B might be supported by AF)
