我还记得我们曾经服务的一位客户是一对母女。妈妈为女儿的初中毕业举办了一个聚会。当我们来到她家的时候妈妈看起来筋疲力尽，说不出话来，整个过程都保持着一副扑克脸。想到她的身体需要进行最好的按摩，我感到很紧张，也更小心了。最后，当我们为她做了按摩后，她看起来很满意，恢复了活力。她说她现在很放松很开心，并跟我们讲述了她为女儿举办聚会很紧张的给她造成很大的压力，最后看到她充满笑容的感谢时我们知道这这就是我们要做的事情。
作为一名专业的按摩治疗师，我充满信心和自豪。我意识到我的工作非常有意义。最初我们关心小费和金钱，但后来我意识到我的工作主要是为客户带来健康，让世界更快乐。

在 2019-2021 年，covid-19 如此严重，我们看到医生和护士工作如此繁重，压力如此之大。我们真的需要帮助。我们为医生和护士推出了旨在缓解压力的免费按摩服务。我们缺乏这项活动的经验，也没有提供足够的帮助，但我们再次学到了怎样去开展这样的活动，未来我们仍将专注于开展对我们的社区和社会有意义活动和服务。

Forest House Spa is a health and beauty company. Our main business scope is Massage, facials, Skin Care, Eyelash Extensions, and Waxing.
I decided to do my own business in 2016. we just moved to the US in Feb 2016. My son was just two years old, my husband and my mum were not English speaking, everything needed me, even shopping. And I barely have time for a company with my son because I have to work in a massage spa from 9:30 am-10 am. It was always midnight when I reached home. I finally decided to find clients alone and work in my house to get a better life. That is why my business starts at the end year of 2016.
In the first few months, I can make about 1000$, but at least I have more time to stay with my family. Thank god my husband got his job that works in Biotechnology. My clients are getting more, everything seems to be getting better and better, we are so grateful, and I turn to love my job. Then, eager to get more professional in the SPA business, I went to beauty school and got my Esthetician license in 2018.
After I got the Esthetician License, our company's business gradually increased,
till 2020, my business income will increase to about 8000$/month.
I had my 2nd kid in Sep 2020. and my husband decided to quit a job and help me to do the spa business. We realized we needed more focus on our own business and care for my kids.
We went to church every week in those most challenging times and served and learned a lot in church. The teachings of Jesus Christ are deeply imprinted in our souls. We have begun to be more inclined in service that Whether we can help customers, relieve their pain and fatigue, and bring wellness to our clients, not only focus on money. We are so excited that we found our mission!
I still remember we served clients that the mum and daughter . the mum held a party for her daughter's Junior high school graduation. The mum looked too exhausted to say anything and kept a poker face throughout the session. I felt nervous and more careful to think her body needed to perform the best massage. Finally, Once we did the massage, she looked so satisfied and rejuvenated. She said she is so relaxing and happy now. I am her best-ever massage therapist.
I was confident and proud as a professional massage therapist. I realized my work is so much meaningful. I cared about tips and money, but then I realized my work mostly brings clients wellness and makes the world happier.
There are always words in my mind(Thank god for giving me a hand and empowering it, I use it with gratitude and awe, and put this grace and love to everyone I meet in my life)
In 2019-2021, The covid-19 was so severe that we saw the doctor and nurse were such heavy work and stress. We really want help. We launched a free massage service for doctors and nurses that aim to relieve their stress. We lacked experience for this activity and did not help enough, but we gained, and we will still focus on doing spa business that means for our community and society.
